Plot: A cop who doesn’t believe in Satan comes upon a case that makes him believe in Satan.
Why it’s recommended: I don’t understand why people/critics hated this movie. While the acting is questionable, Deliver Us From Evil has a creepy atmosphere and some well-placed spoops. Not to mention one of my most favorite climactic exorcism scenes. The book is pretty good too.
Interesting Fact: This movie is filled with references to the band, “The Doors”.
Best Line: “You know, uh, the last time we took somebody else’s job, you almost got eaten.”
